Target Mapping
Every source component gets its target service, tooling lane and disposition, in a source-to-target map you keep.
Explore Target MappingMove your legacy estate onto Microsoft Fabric or Databricks in repeatable waves, each one proved against its source before cutover.
Moved in waves
Planned, repeatable waves, never one big weekend.
Proved before cutover
Every wave is reconciled with its source and signed off.
Governed from the first wave
Access and lineage are built into the target, not added later.

The heroic migration bets everything on a long freeze, one conversion tool and one cutover weekend. A copied table proves little when the reports built on it no longer agree.
One line, every wave
Each wave runs the same four stages, from inventory to cutover.
Converted where it is safe
Logic is converted where its meaning survives the move and redesigned where it does not.
Evidence travels with the data
A wave goes live only on signed reconciliation evidence, with a rollback plan beside it.

SeAir Exim
Trade intelligence · Export-import data
We moved SeAir Exim's trade-intelligence platform off ElasticSearch on AWS onto Microsoft Fabric. Azure OpenAI resolves duplicate and conflicting supplier records, and the platform now reconciles 500M+ of them at 99% accuracy, with data processing 90% faster than on the legacy stack.
Microsoft Fabric and Azure OpenAI have revolutionised the way we manage and analyze data, turning monumental challenges into seamless operations.

Data estate modernization moves legacy databases, SAP data and BusinessObjects reports onto a platform such as Microsoft Fabric or Databricks without losing a number. We run it as a factory: the source inventory becomes a wave plan, every wave follows the same four stages, and each wave is reconciled with its source and signed off before cutover. Access and lineage are built into the target from the first wave.
Assess typically takes two weeks, the Blueprint phase two to three weeks and the first wave, run as a Pilot, four to six weeks; later waves follow on a quarterly rhythm. Each phase through the Pilot is fixed price and fixed scope, priced up front. The full length of the move depends on the size of the estate, which the wave plan sizes before delivery begins.
Either can be the right target, and we move estates onto both. If the platform is still open, that choice belongs in Strategy & Advisory, where it is made on your workloads. Once it is chosen, Modernization maps every source component to the service that suits it. Our tooling covers both: GovKit sets up Unity Catalog on Databricks, or workspaces, domains and Purview lineage on Fabric.
Every wave is reconciled with its source before cutover, and no wave goes live without signed evidence. Migration Recon compares source and target at four levels, schema, row, checksum and cell, and every difference is explained before the target is accepted. You keep the evidence reports, the cutover plan and the rollback plan. Migration Recon can also issue evidence for a move another firm runs.
A factory moves the estate in repeatable waves; a big-bang migration bets everything on one cutover weekend. The heroic approach relies on a long freeze and one conversion tool, and a copied table proves little when the reports built on it no longer agree. In a factory, each wave runs the same line, logic is redesigned where its meaning would not survive conversion, and the evidence travels with the data.
When the reconciliation is signed, the estate is ready for Run. The target architecture and signed evidence cross with it. The question becomes which operating decision the new platform should improve first.
